The trip!

This friday I went to see Joel Osteen preach in Alanta. I really liked it. It was at the Phillips Area. We had that place packed so much that we had standing only people in the lobbies. Plus another two thousand people I believe were watching at the CNN building. The whole expereince was worth the trip down there and back. We left around 3 pm and got back like at 1:45 in the morning.

Going to a Church of Christ church, I only saw a chorus and band one other time which was when I with my friend/coworker Jeremy to his church. It was pretty good. I still like the acapella that I am usually use to. All and all I am glad I got to go. It was a new and great experience.

Oh yeah the lesson main point was "Do not get comfortable, keep moving on"... its something like that. And its true we do get comfortable with ourselfs and our life that we dont want to change.

Other news, the car that was wreck might be totaled. A test monday which I am studying for right now.

The Wreck!

This past Wed., I involved in a wreck. I was leaving downtown as usual, but this time it was before 10pm. It rained alot the for the past few days. There I was in a 97' BMW 540 driving on 58 taking the Dupont Parkway on ramp. The car and I were going well until I made it past the curve and some how lost control of the wheel and ran into the concrete barrier with the driver side. Then I spun across the two lanes and my back driver side hit the guard rail. After that I spun and my front driver side hit the concerte barrier agian. I was in shock after it was all over. Only thing I remember was me on the curve driving. Next thing I knew I was stopped with the car damaged. Luckly there was no traffic. Cars all ready pulled over to the shoulder once they saw the wreck. One nice lady got out and made sure I was ok. My preacher from church, along with an elder pulled up. They were on their way home when they saw my car totaled. A freind from college came too. Later my Dad and brother came. The important thing is that I am ok. Well I am a little sore. The side air bag went off. The front one did not. I was blessed. Although I was in a wreck, at least i walked away alive and mostly 100%.
